I say ‘best answers possible’ because 2012 is the high point of a long-planned shift from the third dimension into the next dimension of time and space—of which we know little. It is hard to forecast a future so different from our past.
But I’m certain the information you find in the book will be much improved over the popular, fearful misconceptions now marketed everywhere. First, Earth will not be destroyed. Harrowing scenes of a wall of water washing over the Himalayas, giant ruptures in the Earth beneath cities all over the world, or three days of darkness as the result of a polar shift portray events that could happen, but which are distant probabilities, not realities.
Second, 2012 is not a one-off, one day event. The transition between two dimensions is a massive energetic event that unleashes unpredictable forces, but it takes place over a period of time. 2012, in fact, cannot be defined except as a deep process of transformation. Rather than a day of cataclysm, a series of disruptions will test our courage and force us to reflect on our human community and values. You may have noticed that disruption is well underway. In other words, you are already living through the early stages of 2012.
I refer to the period associated with 2012 as the Great Shift, or simply as the Shift. On December 21, 2012, Earth will experience the full force of new energies meant to drive us into the future. But the strange and lovely truth is that these energies are deeply associated with love, an influx designed to accelerate the development of human awareness and reawaken us to our spiritual roots. In that sense, a new world begins, as the Mayans anticipated in the famous Mayan Calendar. But they could not foretell the future. They just knew Earth would be different.
How different? I don’t know. After 2012, Earth will have entered realms utterly mysterious to us. But if you read this book carefully, you will have a clearer picture of the future than did the Mayans. Earth’s journey follows a pre-planned route that civilizations in other star systems have also taken. Entities who preceded us on the same path of evolution include emissaries from the Milky Way galaxy, along with untold numbers of others commonly known as avatars and guides, a category that includes beings who at one time lived in human form on this planet. Regardless of origins, from their vantage point, they understand where Earth is headed and how we can arrive safely. As Earth rebirths itself, they are giving us as much help as possible. Understanding the ‘decoding’ process requires a fundamental change in our beliefs about the nature of reality: We do not ‘think’ independent of the universe; rather, we tune into energetic impulses from an infinite field of intelligence and use the heart and brain to transform the impulses into thoughts and emotions. Acting together, those organs form the heart-mind—a mechanism that allows us to receive information, as well as create new thought and send it back to the universe. The process takes place through resonance—the harmonic interaction between our personal energy fields and waves from the larger field.
The discovery that consciousness exists as part of the universal field of energy leads to the ultimate breakthrough: Earth’s spiritual rebirth. This is the fundamental purpose behind 2012. Physicists suspect that the universe is structured as a unified field of light energy. But in the future they will find that the highest frequencies of energy in the field contain the energies of love as well. Held in the high frequency vibrations of love is core knowledge about the central source radiating the energies of love, most often called God.
