2012 is the most important event in Earth's history, but it is not well understood, even by those who claim prophetic visions of the future. We do know that a great planetary Shift in consciousness has been forecast by numerous sources throughout history, including tribes with long histories on the planet such as the Mayans, the Hopi, Lakota, Inuit, and the Maori. First, intelligent beings from other dimensions of time and space can foresee probable events on Earth and show us how to control our destiny. This notion of other-worldly guidance, of course, raises more red flags than do tribal prophecies. But 2012 represents the date at which Earth rejoins the universe, revealing new realities. A second source of information is you. The Shift is not happening to us; it is happening through us. 2012 represents a radical uptick in the vibratory level of the planet, but the state of the planet is closely linked to personal transformation. Those energies are modulated by us, through the heart or, more exactly, through the heart-mind, the combination of the heart and brain that regulates consciousness.

Already, we will live partially in that new world, and the heart-mind is now more active that at any time in history. Understanding the Shift
To understand 2012 requires a new view of life, evolution, human beings, and the workings of the universe. Such radical changes won't occur overnight. The Shift launches an era over the next thousand years in which we will learn a set of truths that now seem impossible, but in fact represent a deeper reality that we barely perceive at present. But you can see the outline of the new reality. This will help you flow with events during the Shift and appreciate their significance.
Foremost of the new truths is that everything we consider 'real,' including the body, is made of light energy. You and I are not made primarily of flesh and blood; we are light beings. Under the direction of consciousness, light energy gives you unlimited power to manifest and create your world.
Physicists would agree on the basics of energy; they have confirmed that beneath the solid reality of this dimension lies an energetic reality still to be explored. Eventually, two unknown facts about energy will become apparent. First, light energy is infused with love energy. Second, consciousness is also a complex set of energies, organized into an immortal field we call the soul.
The soul, precedes the body, guides it, and leaves it behind at death. But you will always be a conscious being, in this lifetime and others. Moreover, you will always have love within you; you are made of love. This connects you to the universe, which is also made of love and light. You are part of the whole.
To be 'enlightened' is be aware of this connection to the whole. Moving in the direction of enlightenment is the basis for evolution. The universe organizes energy according to frequency of vibration, a kind of bandwidth system that governs different levels of awareness. In the third dimension and below, beings know too little about consciousness to recognize their connection to the whole, or realize that love is infused into them. But that is about to change. The Shift has arrived. In this universe, seven dimensions exist. After 2012, we will enter the higher fourth dimension.
The Shift is not an accident, but the capstone of a pre-planned journey. When high frequency energies are injected into a planet's field of consciousness, the thoughts of the inhabitants also change. The human race begins to act upon its hidden intuition that love binds us all into a collective. Our spiritual desires flourish. Acts of compassion are common. Above all, life feels chaotic and uncertain—because it is.
On December 21, 2012, the intensity of the energies beamed at Earth reach their height. That is why the date is significant. But prepare for many more years of flux, trial, and awakening as the planet settles into its new status.
Opening the heart-mind: Your path during 2012
The Shift is about you and me, not the Earth. The intense energies are designed to make us aware of light and love, to renew our connection to the universe, and to set us on a path of illumination. The leap from third to fourth dimension is the most important step in a planet's evolution. It is no accident you are alive at this moment.
There is a safe path through 2012. That path is to become love. A fully self-realized being, such as Jesus, became love. Each of us does not need to meet that standard yet. But our best efforts are expected and will be rewarded during the time of the Shift. Practice non-judgment. Appreciate the gift of life. Be kind at all times. Open your heart to adversaries. Respond with compassion to acts of violence, anger, and destructiveness.
Also, own the power you have been given by the Shift. The high frequency energies cause the dissolution of the old world, but they also build a new world. In the new world, you have far more capacity and control over your life. Use visualization and affirmation to accomplish life-affirming goals. Hone your intuition through meditation, breathing, and reflection. Use techniques to balance your energies through the chakras or other methods that suit you.
Most of all, explore and master the energies of the heart-mind. By making an intentional choice to become more loving, you activate the heart-mind. The free will choice to love is vital during the Shift. The heart-mind is designed to be the fourth dimensional tool for consciousness.
